” Wait, are we on the same page?”
I absolutely majorly dislike when I’m talking to a person and we get half way through a conversation and then either they or myself have to ask ” Wait, are we on the same page?”. It seems to throw off the whole entire conversation after that. Why’s that you might ask? It’s because then for the next 3-5 minutes you are both sitting there trying to figure out when and where the conversation turned. HOWEVER, sometimes you do have friends, like my friend Candy, who will be oh so nice and ask right smack dab in the beginning if we’re on the same page. I very much appreciate that :) so thank you my friend. Then again, we have those people who will wait all the way to the end and say ” Wait, we were talking about ________, right?” NO, wrong! I don’t know, I guess that would be a pet peeve of mine. So this a PSA ( Public Service Announcement ) please, please, please make yourself clear at the beginning of a conversation. Thank You :)
